Meet our Brigade Management Team (BMT)

Our Brigade Management Team are elected volunteer officials who lead and manage our brigade, both on the Fireground and Outside.

BMT Members and Officers are elected for a 2 year period, with elections held in June.

Layton Miller

Captain

Elected as Captain in June 2017, Layton was the Brigade Secretary for 4 years, and has 25 years of Service to the CFA
As Captain, Layton is the overall Leader of the Brigade.

Ben Miller

3rd Lieutenant

Elected as 3rd Lieutenant in June 2019, Ben has been a member of the CFA for approximately 13 years.
Ben is responsible for KFFB's Operational Assets & PPE/Protective Equipment.

 

Erica McArthur

Brigade Treasurer

Elected as Treasurer in June 2019, Erica has been with KFFB for a short while - but has taken on the role with enthusiasm.
Erica is responsible for all financial related matters on behalf of the Brigade.

Brendan Brown

1st Lieutenant

Elected as 1st Lieutenant in June 2017, Brendan is the Operational Leader of the Brigade. Brendan has approximately 30 years of Service to the CFA

James O'Brien

4th Lieutenant

Elected as 4th Lieutenant in June 2017, James has 15 years of Service to the CFA.
James holds the Health & Safety Coordinator's role for the Brigade, as well as Recruitment and New Member Inductions.
James also oversees the brigade's Facebook Page & Website.

Glen Brown

Communications Officer

Elected as Communications Officer in June 2019, Glen has served the CFA for approximately 15 years.
Glen is responsible for Communications within the Brigade, as well as the submission of Fire Reports to the CFA, and being joint-administrator of the Brigade's Facebook Page.

Will Blair

2nd Lieutenant

Elected as 2nd Lieutenant in June 2017, Will holds the Training and Development portfolio for the Brigade.
Will has approximately 12 years of Service to the CFA

Jenna Muston

Brigade Secretary

Jenna was elected as Secretary in June 2017.
In her role as Secretary, Jenna is the Administration Manager of the Brigade and oversees accurate recording of the brigade's business and meetings.
Jenna has just over 10 years of Service to the CFA.

Nathan Harris

FEM Officer

Nathan is KFFB's Fire Equipment Maintenance Officer. Nathan is responsible for the administration and coordination of the FEM work around the local community.
Nathan has previously served as 2nd Lieutenant for the Brigade, and has served the CFA for approximately 15 years.
